I am smiling in anticipation of the next two weeks!
Teachers have summer vacations,
Older students enjoy semester break, &
I delight in Nature’s seasonal change of SOLSTICE !
Summer Solstice arrives June 20th this year
& I will be on retreat in New Mexico then.
Santa Fe & Abiquiu is my favorite pilgrimage
in May or June each year. The wide open spaces &
imposing Pedernal that Georgia O’Keeffe
loved so well are in my veins too!
Both fun & quiet reflection in the
Land of Enchantment seems to fill me up with
Purpose & Joy, showing me glimpses into my
elemental inner world. Simultaneously I am
free to bask in incredible physical
Beauty of the region, further enriched with a
variety of mingled ancient cultures.
Ah,h,h,h — I allow myself to breathe deep and be!
While there, my rhythm will be
Passionate Photo Bliss,
Play at Play (vacation!),
Play at Work & Play at Retreat,
concluded by Play at Play!!
This balanced time-out will allow me to
relax back into the Spiritual Ocean,
our Home from where we all emerged.
Of course, there are plenty of wonderful
pleasures & places to go in Santa Fe which
will have their due, as well. . . .
Yet my return this year will mark a Homecoming
to my Spiritual Heart, where the ONE Spirit of
God, Goddess, All-That-Is burns bright!
This pilgrimage to the Land of Enchantment will also
mark a shift in the practical aspects of my blog, a shift
in the rhythm of my creations as my growth pulls me
ever upward in the spiral!
So, what’s THAT mean to me, Jana?
It means my blog entries will focus more
– in the short term — on favorite quotes,
tidbits or reminders, and wisdom from others, rather
than my own current Spiritual Offerings.
Be assured, you WILL continue to receive inspirational
photos 5 days a week for the coming weeks! Then, upon my
return, we will see what is in the downstream flow!
As Abraham says,
“THIS is the time that
Thriving is at it’s Best if you tune
into the energy of thriving!”
